The Martyrs Monument will provide a permanent memorial to some of the thousands of Christians who have died for their faith in Christ.
It will provide a place of inspiration and challenge to Christians, many of whom don’t know about the persecuted church.
The Martyrs Monument will also have blank spaces, to recognize the sacrifices that will be made in coming years by Christians in restricted nations; an ongoing tribute to the persecuted church and to God’s faithfulness.
The Voice of the Martyrs has established the goal of raising more than $1 million through tile sponsorships to support the families of today’s persecuted Christians through The Families of Martyrs Fund. This portion of the funds raised will go to providing aid to families of the Christians killed or imprisoned for their faith. Additional funds raised will pay to build the monument, equip public displays about today’s persecuted church inside the new Wurmbrand Center, and provide for the chapel inside the building.
