The new The Voice of the Martyrs Ministry Center, including the Operations Center housing warehouse and shipping facilities, the Wurmbrand Center, housing administrative offices and persecution exhibits, is nothing more than a tool. It is a tool to enable The Voice of the Martyrs to better serve the persecuted church.
Operations Center
The Operations Center greatly enhances The Voice of the Martyrs ability to process and ship Christian literature and aid material into restricted nations. It increases our newsletter capacity, enabling the mission to be an even stronger Voice, telling the stories of persecuted Christians to the American church. Operation’s Center is the primary volunteer workspace and opened in July 2009.
Wurmbrand Center
The Wurmbrand Center, which is scheduled for completion in early 2011, will allow for and encourage increased efficiency and effectiveness from the mission’s faithful paid and volunteer workers. Our current office facilities have limited growth opportunities; expanded space will provide a better work environment and allow for the mission’s continued growth.
Building the Kingdom
The buildings will be nice; they will provide modern technology and accommodation and will be visually pleasing. But they are still just tools. As a carpenter uses a hammer to fulfill his or her calling, so The Voice of the Martyrs will use these new buildings to better serve the call that God has given our ministry.
